What is Flutter?
Flutter is a cross platform UI framework developed by Google. This means that you only have to write the code once for Android and iOS. This is not the case with traditional (native) apps, here 2 separate codebases have to be maintained. With Flutter, the development process becomes many times more efficient, both in terms of cost and time.
It is often the case that cross-platform frameworks (such as Ionic or Xamarin) suffer from overhead. As a result, the app does not perform optimally or uses more resources than necessary. Unlike other cross-platform frameworks, Flutter has native performance.
Like Fastlane, large companies such as Ebay, Toyota, Sony and Samsung are convinced of the potential of Flutter.

Why Flutter?
We recommend Flutter for the following benefits:
- One code base
- Cost efficient
- Performance
- Flexible
- Brand new technology

Experienced flutter developers
At Fastlane we like to try out the latest technologies. That's why we started making applications in Flutter a few years ago. We liked Flutter for the ease of use & versatility. Also, because Google is actively developing Flutter and therefore it remains an up-to-date technology.
